Avocado Bloom - MICRO HARVEST - Southern California Avocado Bloom- 12oz
For just a few weeks each spring, the avocado groves tucked into the rugged mountains of San Diego County come alive with blossoms. Cooled by ocean air and surrounded by steep canyon walls, these highland orchards produce one of Southern California's shortest nectar flows. Our bees are there when it happens, gathering from an avocado-dominant landscape that gives this harvest its unmistakable character.
Deep amber in color and exceptionally smooth, it opens with earthy, herbaceous notes before unfolding into a buttery sweetness with remarkable depth. Rich without being overpowering, it lingers long after the first taste.
Like every Wild Tree harvest, this honey reflects a single place and a single season. While our bees naturally forage from the diverse blossoms surrounding the groves, the avocado bloom defines the character of this harvest, creating a flavor that could only come from these coastal mountain hillsides.
Once these jars are gone, the bloom is over until next spring.
Experience one of California's rarest honey harvests.
